“Jordana Fiorini received her angel wings on January 22, 2016 at the tender age of 10 years old. Jordana is the beautiful daughter of Luciano and Alison and beloved sister of Lucas and Laurence. Jordana’s journey began at Sick Kids in September, 2015 when she was diagnosed with a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).”
In honour of their daughter and sister, the Fiorini family has set upon this movement in the spirit of Jordana herself by spreading love, kindness, and rainbows to bring awareness to DIPG and pediatric cancer. Their goal is clear, no child should have to fight alone. Each month they offer a new challenge to raise awareness via Instagram and with the hashtags: #jordanasrainbows #dipgawareness #loveisbiggerthancancer #jordanastrong.
Jordana’s Rainbow Warriors (as they’re called) held an event in December 2016 to put together gift bags for those families spending Christmas at Sick Kids Hospital. The video says the rest.
